About: Lemon essential oil has a beautiful bright and sweet citrus scent. To make the oil, the rinds of unripe lemons are expeller pressed (squeezed, not steamed). Lemon is commonly used to clean, elevate one’s mood, support immunity and to increase focus.
Common Uses: Lemon may be added to all-purpose cleaners, diffusers, room sprays, detergents, soaps, hand sanitizers, lotions, aromatherapy inhalers and perfumes.
Blending Recommendations: Lemon has an irresistibly bright and stimulating citrus scent.
Basil, Black Pepper, Clary Sage, Clove, Cypress, Eucalyptus Citriodora, Eucalyptus Globulus, Eucalyptus Radiata, Fennel, Silver Fir, Frankincense, Ginger, Grapefruit, Jasmine, Juniper Berry, Lavender, Lemongrass, Lime, Neroli, Niaouli, Sweet Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Peppermint, Scotch Pine, Rosemary (all varieties), Spearmint, Tea Tree, Thyme (all varieties), Wintergreen, Ylang Ylang.
Safety Information: Do not apply to sensitive skin or to the skin of young children as it may cause temporary irritation. Always dilute. Do not consume more than 3 drops within a 24-hour period.
Maximum Adult Dilution: 3%; 18 drops per ounce of carrier
While the phototoxicity of Lemon essential oil is low, skin must not be exposed to direct sunlight or to a sun bed for up to 12 hours to avoid burns after the oil has been applied to the skin at above 1% dilution.
Shelf Life: 1 year after opening. Store in the refrigerator for extended shelf life. Old Lemon oil should not be applied to the skin or ingested, but is perfect for household cleaners.
Storage: Store upright, cap closed, out of direct heat and sunlight.
